Pacifique BYIRINGIRO

Pacifique BYIRINGIRO is a passionate conservationist, citizen scientist, avitour guide, and professional tourist driver-guide. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Tourism Destination Management from RP Kitabi College. Pacifique has actively participated in the Global Bird Counting Team – Rwanda 2025 and received an award from the University of Rwanda for mentoring Ecotourism and Green Space Management. He is a certified Planet Birdsong recordist since 2022, offering valuable data to conservation across the globe. He is currently the Project Manager of the Rugezi Ornithology Center, where he manages projects related to bird conservation, habitat protection, and community-based ecotourism.
