Community Liaison Officer

KURADUSENGE Sylvere is a passionate nature enthusiast, conservationist, and professional bird guide from Rwanda. He is a researcher and an active member of the Waterbird Counting Team Rwanda, which helps monitor waterbird populations and set conservation priorities globally. He participated in biodiversity assessments of Rwanda’s biosphere reserves, including Volcanoes and Gishwati-Mukura Biosphere Reserves, in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Natural Resource Management. He is certified as a bird song recordist by the Planet Birdsong Project and has also earned certification as a Kivu Belt Bird Guide from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB). Additionally, he is an active member of the African Bird Club. Currently, he works as a bird guide at Nyandungu and is committed to nature conservation and education, aiming to inspire others to appreciate and protect Rwanda's rich biodiversity.


Experience
